The 2012 London Model Engineering Exhibition will offer a competition section for the very first time; this will be known as The Great Model Engineering Competition.
This competition is being held to celebrate the Olympic year and to highlight the achievements of model engineers in recreating engineering in all its forms. The Engineering Exhibition also aim to encourage a sense of pride in the way that Britain led the Industrial Revolution and how our engineering innovators have formed the world we live in today.
- Unlike any other exhibition in the country the winners of each class will be able to keep the trophy they are awarded for perpetuity to celebrate both the occasion and their success.
- Free Entry for all exhibits and two day tickets for entry to the show
- Winners will retain trophies awarded permanently
