The EZE-LAP Base6 magnetic sharpening stone holder is made from sharpening stones that are 15 x 5 cm large. Without a holder you often sharpen too close to the surface the stone is placed on. Not great: the height is limited and sometimes you don’t have enough room. This is no longer the case with the Base6. You place the sharpening stone in the holder and elevate the sharpening surface. With it you sharpen a little further from the table or countertop which is great.

How to use the Base6 holder

The middle of the holder is enhanced with three magnets. These attract the stone with metal base to make sure the stone stays in place. Have you finished sharpening? Remove the stone from the base, with the help of the holes on both sides of the surface of the holder.

Please note: if you use the Base6 in combination with a 15 x 5 diamond-coated EZE-LAP sharpening stone, you need to remove the four anti-slip feet before use. You will notice that if you don’t remove the feet, the stone will wobble in the holder making the gravitational pull decrease.
