For the honing and polishing of the inside of turning gouges, woodcarving gouges and V-parting tools, Tormek have developed a profiled leather honing wheel, made of solid tanned leather. The diameter of the larger wheel is 120 mm (4 3/4″), which speeds up the honing process. The sharp profile for V-parting tools is specially treated for optimum function and life. This wheel has exchangeable leather discs so you can easily replace a disc with a worn tip. Discs with alternative, narrower profiles are available as optional extra. The two standard discs have a radius of 3 mm (1/8″) and a 60° tip. You can mount double LA-120 wheels, one with standard profiles and one with set of narrow discs, and thus have access to four various profiles at the same time.
